AHHHHHHHHHH. The Scots grabbed failure from the jaws of victory. At least if the Pom's play like that against the big 3 they will get pummelled.

Just had a whole plane-load of French and Tongan supporters on the flight home from Wellington. The French not so happy, the Tongans very happy. Well done ![:)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/smiley.png)

Well the big news released today is Dan Carter is out of World Cup 2011 with grion injury. Aaron Cruden has been brought into the squad....so well done to him. This is not the end of the AB's run at World Cup 2011 has many on differant websites think...it takes 15 to win its called a team and the AB's as a team can still win the cup.....gotta have and show complete faith. As for Dan well he may one one more world cup in him but who knows.
A big in fact huge well done to both our pacific neighbours Samoa and Tonga. Tonga you stood France up and made them look very below average for a team going into the next round and you represented your nation beyond words. Samoa well you pushed a rugby superpower to a point they will be concerned with....you as did Tonga showed the sleepy IRB that you deserve more support and access to bigger and far more international games than you get. Well done. As for England last night......well drop Wilkinson and play Flood all the time....he is the superstar of today not Wilkinson get that right and you may surprise yourselfs. Go the AB's......... Go the Warriors................
Its also a very proud day today for the people of Taranaki with two local boys on the big stage.............. Andrew Hore Captain of the AB's for the first time. And Keiran Crowley coach of Canada. Best of luck to both good Naki boys.

Well Slade is rubbish so we'll be reduced to average, not outstanding. And the team morale must have dropped with a thump.

Time to pop down to the TAB to place a bet...odds may have changed a bit now! Heres one for the conspiracy theorists: He's not injured, and will trot onto the field for the finals. Its all a big mind game with the opposition.

I'm sick of hearing the media pundits saying they reckon Graham Henry is doing the 2007 style rotation and claiming it's injuries. I'm certian he's not and if anyhting proves that, it's this. As I understand it, IRB paperwork has been signed to bring in Cruden as an official replacement to the team, officially ruling Carter out of the team, so I very much doubt he'll 'trot onto the field for the finals' as he's officially no longer a team member. He must be devastated, poor bloke. Cruden must be stoked though.
Slade had better step up his game, he's been awful lately.

Great game. Zac is BACK!
Slade was up and down, not convincing. Hopefully they will start Weepu in that position next time. Otherwise well done to the All Blacks. I feel a little more confident now.
I hope the Canadian captain is ok, that was a massive head collision.

Overkill once again? Helicopter company called over aerial shotsANTONIO BRADLEY Last updated 05:00 03/10/2011 A helicopter company says it was challenged by Rugby World Cup organisers and the Economic Development Ministry after one of its copters was used to take aerial photos of Saturday's match between France and Tonga in Wellington. Helipro central region operations manager Ned Lee said he was told yesterday morning by cup organisers and the MED that the branding on their helicopter was not allowed above the stadium and the company could be prosecuted if it was using the event to promote the company. "I basically questioned that and said: `Well what's considered above it? How close can we get and how high do we need to be?' Because Air New Zealand planes can come over the top. He was definitely trying to stop us from doing it." www.stuff.co.nz/business/industries/5721448/Helicopter-company-called-over-aerial-shots

Well another great weekend of Rugby World Cup 2011 and the end of pool games. Best wishes to those teams and supporters going home and I hope you enjoyed New Zealand and all it has to offer. Back to the Rugby and this weekend is do or die and have a bad day at the office and you go from hero to zero and are on your way home. It's hard to beleive but the dream ends this weekend for 4 teams and here are my picks....... Ireland v Wales...both teams look well balanced but I think Ireland will have the legs to go to the semi's-close game and a must watch.
England v France will both these teams should miss out....England play Toby flood and they should bag this game with complete ease.
Sth Africa v Australia well I am taking Sth Africa they are all round too strong and Aussie are the walking wounded.
NZ v Argentina well this will be one sided at best....AB's by 30 they will be too fast and slick for an ageing Argentina.
As for the AB's I have 100% confidence they will take this World Cup and win it with ease. They are the only team that look really polished and with game makers like Nonu,SBW and Dagg and their sheer speed and strenght will set them miles apart of any team. I feel sorry for DC but Slade is more than capable of the job.....you gotta remember if you have to be the best of the best to be in that team in the first place....it is hard when there are four million coaches and selectors...I say give him a fair chance.
Any way pitty about the Warriors but they did their best.
Go the AB's this Sunday send Argentina home with their tale between their legs and show them no mercy.
