37 AB 17 France. So much for McCow's prediction, what now for him. Anyone for a McBeef Burger.

All Blacks 37 - France 17 -- A bloody brilliant game, a great score line, a very strange try awarded to the French, well done to Richie McCaw on his 100th Test Cap, and wonderful to see Jock Hobbs too, who has been so ill.

A fantastic game of footie - good score at the final whistle, great to see Richie's get that special cap and very nice to see it awarded by Jock Hobbs who has done so much to secure the RWC for NZ ![8-)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cool.png)

Sorry, but what are you referring to Darren? I'm confused. The Wallabies/USA game Dave.

Thanks, yeah I eventually worked out what you were referring to. Because the rubbish free to air coverage schedule had the game so late in the middle of the night I had not intially been aware that it had even been played.

Congratulations on sorting out your Frog problem ;D Now all you have to do is sort out your Kangaroo and Antelope problem ![;)](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/wink.png) The good news is that you will probably only have to deal with one of the above after they have battled it out between themselves !! Clearly I am an Antelope supporter ...but I do worry about them Kangaroo's ;D

Well another weekend down and some great games. Firstly well done to the AB's and to Richie who is such a great ambassator for the game and aviation in this country. I did say the AB's would win and do it with ease and I based this on who wants it more and there is no team that wants it more than the AB's well done and keep it up. Must say the aussies are doin it hard with their injury list and they may well end there bid against South Africa in the quarters unless these injuries are some media front...dont think so. The poms started to show what they are capable of by holding onto the ball and playing a running game instead of their normal slowly the game down tatics. They looked good even against a lower level team. Tobby Flood their first five is very impressive and he is one to watch in the coming weeks. And Argentina had the narrow win over the Scots and providing England bet the Scots this weekend the bag pipes will be winging their way home early. Anyway great day here in New Plymouth warm and sunny for Wales game tonight, had lunch in same cafe today as the Welsh and felt the odd one out!. Anyway camper vans everywhere in town and many a smile to be found.
And my final note has gotta be ..........Go the Warriors......well done. Everyones mate the Mad Butcher will be pumped up to the max......Go the Warriors and Sir Peter...we all love you for your great love and support for the people of Canterbury!

Ok well another full on weekend at Rugby World Cup 2011. But first I have to say go the Warriors.....you deserve this title and do it for everyones friend the Mad butcher.....Sir Peter will be so proud.
Anyway back to the rugby and barring any upsets this weekend the quarters should look like this- Ireland v Wales at Wellington 6pm next Saturday England v France at Eden Park 8.30pm next Saturday Sth Africa v Aust at Wellington 6pm next Sunday NZ v Argentina at Wellington 8.30pm next Sunday.
This should be the quarters unless there are upsets this weekend.
Makes the semis look intersting with this possible outcome
Ireland v England Sth Africa v NZ
WOW based on this England should be comfortable with Ireland but NZ against Sth Africa that will be a might battle. I cannot see Australia winning against South Africa with their injury list. Anyway have a great weekend and enjoy the rugby............. GO The Warriors................. GO The AB's........................

I see England was caught cheating, switching the brand of balls for their kicks, and two coasches were suspended. They should suspend their kicker as well as he was obviously in on it. Bloody cheats.
I feel so sorry that Samoa has been fined 5000 quid by the bloody IRB as one guy wore a branded mouth guard - which even in a close up shot you couldn't read. The IRB has done themselves no favours lately and I wouldn't be surprised if all the unions pull out and start a rebel union in the future. Steve Tew has brought up some very valid points about the cost of running the Cup.
The other day on Central TV there was a Hawkes Bay TV interview with the legendary winger Va'aiga Tuigamala, better known as Inga the Winger. He told a great story, and don't ping me for racism as this is what he said and he was laughing through it so he obviously thought it was hilarious. He said while he was an All black he was doing a school visit and there were all these kids in the hall listening to him, and he spotted this cute little girl aged about 6 in the front, so he said to her, "Do you know who I am?" she replied yes.
And he said. "Do you know what my nickname is?" She says, "Yes" He said, "What is it?" She replies in all innocence, "Well, when my Daddy's watching the All Blacks and you get the ball, he always yells 'Go... Go... Go you big black bastard!!'"
He said the hall erupted in laughter and he thought it was hilarious. ;D ;D

Dave just read about what the little girl said to inga....that brought a smile to my face for a great sunny Friday afternoon. Bearcat you only have to look at South Africa they look very polished in all aspects of their play. Australia have injuries left right and center and looked rattled at times when other teams get on top and pressure Mr Cooper(that nice guy). But on the day anything can happen and only time will tell. Go the Warriors.................... Go the AB's...........................

I'm thinking that Samoa might cause some problems for the Boks. Either they will upset or cause a lot of injury. I'm not convinced that the Poms will beat France either. As for Pool B, its anybodies game. Quite interesting really. If Scotland beat England it'll be all over the place.

Wow, a really huge 'good on you guys' to Campbell Live and Nosh who went out today and have raised almost the entire $10,000 with a sausage sizzle to pay Samoa's IRB fine for the mouth guard. That is the epitomy of good hearted kiwi spirit, well done John and the team.

Sad to see that Richie McCaw and Dan Carter both have injuries and have had to pull out of tomorrow's test.
Has Andrew Hore captained the All Blacks before?
