The plan at this stage is we're working out a way to make veterans not have to pay for the event or the dinner.
We're also looking for ways to get Mossie veterans from around New zealand to the event - they are the most important people who'll be attendign so we need to find sponsors and helpers. Can anyone suggest any ways to raise sponsorship to get some of our our of town Mossie veterans to the event? If so, email me please.
It seems airline sponsorship may not be as easily found as hoped. We still would like more volunteers for car pool drivers under the Veteran Buddy system too. If people are driving from places like Hastings, Taupo, Rotorua, Wellington, Raglan, Tauranga, Waikanae, Thames, etc and they can offer a seat or two to a veteran/s for the car trip so they can attend, that would be great.

What are the timings for the Saturday meet? Is it more afternoon than morning? because it appears that flights Wn -Auckland aren't early morning, and I have to collect a rental and drive north etc!

I am sure that forum members will be keen to meet on the Saturday too, to get together on the big day. However it's pretty likely I won't be around to join in as I'll be in the VIP area looking after the veterans, etc., and doing some filming.

If you're thinking about attending the dinner you'd better get your ticket, I hear the seats are filling fast. It would seem that the dinner is a sellout. No more dinner tickets available from Ticketek. |

Now that I am back in Auckland I have a spare room and bed (double) available as well as room for one adult and, possibly, two contortionists/midgets in my car to both Ardmore and the forum meet.  |

I haven't been logged in much lately so it seems I have missed a bit. I should be able to put up two, possibly three and take them to Ardmore for the airshow and to Don's. Can you book me into the latter please Dave.
Also, I am willing to pay for a vet's dinner if you haven't arranged anything Dave.
