Sure thing Wayne, it'll be good to see you again. Regartding Ardmore I will be tied up most of the day, busy with the veterans etc. So though I may spot a few of you around, I cannot unfortunately arrange a forum gathering as such there - that's what the next day is all about. And our other two Moderators will not be present eithers sadly, Craig cannot make it over from Aussie no matter how much he'd like to, and Don will be in the UK. But it would be great if the rest of you can designate a place to meet up and form a forum area. If not sure on the day, listen out for someone rabbiting on about Austers with a crowd of bored, uninterested people around him, that will be the group.  (Just kidding Baz!) |

From where? I can ask on your behalf but I have no idea where you're thinking about coming from? I know there's a busload coming from Whangarei and another may be coming from Te Awamutu via Cambridge and Hamilton. Also I think one is heading up from Hawkes Bay.

Check out MAXX on the web which is auckland transport. I know that there is a bus from the AK airport to Manukau.

About the closest that public transport will get you is Takanini/Papakura I believe. It's still a few kms from there to Ardmore unfortunately. But there will be a lot of cars headed that way, maybe someone from the forum can meet you and give you a lift.

Hi Dave, is it too late to come along? Cameron and I just booked our flights up. We were going to doing a day trip in the Devon but the Devon can't make it now.

Note to those intending to fly in to Ardmore on the day (i.e. me):
There has been an AIP Supplement notice regarding aircraft movements at Ardmore on the 29th - 141/12
Basically all visiting aircraft should plan on arriving before 10am and not expect to depart before 3.30pm
Look out for ZK-DXQ if you are wandering around.
