Great photos Guys. A great line up of aircraft and a great Dogfight between the Camel and the D8 which appeared to show greater speed and maneuverability!! It was nice to meet you there and have a chat as well Peter!

BTW....I've got it right from the horse's mouth (Jan White) that DH-60G Gipsy Moth ZK-ADT will definitely be at Wings Over Wairarapa, flying as part of a formation of vintage de Havillands, and she also expects to have it at Classic Fighters as she and Jerry are flying down to Manderville in March and they are planning on making Classic Fighters part of that trip.

I know that it isn't as spectacular as some of the other aircraft there, but I have always thought there is something nice about the look of the RE.8.
Great photos, guys.

Awesome photos guys, what luck with the weather aswell !! Question: With the FE2b's I notice that the new one does not have a support nose wheel? attached and the other does??? Sorry if this is a silly question but as I have no real idea, on these machines is it there to stop the aircraft from nosing in when the gunner is on board? Or is the Cof G different between one and the other Tell me to go away if it is really obvious but to me sitting way out there must make things a little nose heavy ??

For some reason, the DH5 ZK-JOQ/2 is always really difficult to photograph The first FE2B-1 replica ZK-FEE/2 flew alongside the new one Sopwith Triplane Replica ZK-SOP seems to easily outperform the various Fokker Triplanes New Fokker D.VIII Replica ZK-FES has the lightning flash while the previous one, ZK_FEV, goes for the vertical

That last one of the six Fokkers... that is just incredible. Who would have though. And in New Zealand too!

The Le Rhone rotary in the Camel gives the full sound effects Bristol Fighter ZK-BRI/2 'S' was the only one of the two in stock to fly - this one is ex G-ACAA Its formation flying with two of the SE5As showed they needed just that little more practice to get their props fully synchronized - two out of three for that effort Go away and play boys, until you can get it just right

All three SE5a did fly, Dave. The usual dogfight against three Fokker Triplanes.
I've still got quite a few photos to sort through, so expect some more from me at some point, including the three SE5a in formation.

Isn't that Bristol Fighter ZK-BRI? ZK-JNU (the replica) is marked as B1112.
Cheers,
Brett

Brett, I was doing a little research on exactly that yesterday, as I could never remember. The Omaka based F2b is ZK-JNU and TVAL's example is ZK-BRI.
