I guess I'm the odd one out as I prefer Caps than T/shirts BUT it does depend on the design. A cap with a DH logo no but a cap with a embroidered Mossie yes. I had a look at the vintage wings website and I like the one of the Beaver. An adaptation of avspecs total rebuild logo on face book would be good. The mossie artwork on the poster is excellent but to much of that screen printed on a T/shirt feels yuk.

Cap and T shirt of good quality material - don't you just hate it when it gets washed the first time and it will only fit a 3 year old ! Things have gone very quiet in the pic update department and that is a good thing considering how much work the guys have to get through between now and the flight day. I know that the CAA would be co-operating with them regarding the paperwork but it is still a mountain to get through.

My sister got me a really nice collared black polo shirt with a Spitfire embroidered on the left chest, from the Air Force Museum of New Zealand a few years ago for my birthday. It looked like really good quality material. On the first wash, which was done as the label suggested, a load of the black dye washed out and left it with red tye-dye style waves down the front. Disappointing for sure. It still fits fine but looks silly.

Is it just me, or does everyone thing "cool - there's another post about the Mosquito!" and feel slightly let down when the last twenty or so posts have been about merchandise, where not to import it from, and how to clean it once purchased?........

All well and good, but I would suggest most purchasers here of such merchandise can tell a crap product when they see it, and if it's crap they'll do exactly as I will, and walk away. I'd like a memento, but I've been around long enough to decide how badly I want it!

It is relevant because the merchandise is related to the project. Nice pics Dave, the Mossie is looking great now in that 487 scheme. Not long now!
