Who's attenting the EAA AirVenture airshow at Oshkosh, Wisconsin, this year? It's only a few weeks away and there usually seems to be loads of kiwis attending. I hope we get lots of reports and photos here on this thread in the future, but in the meantime use this as a way to arrange meet ups if you want.

I'll be arriving Tuesday 30th and staying on site at Camp Scholler. I'm aware of several other Kiwis who'll be there too. I've got some NZ flags to put on my tent and my Camera backpack!

I'm going as well... Fly out on Sunday via LA to Chicago to Appleton, then shuttle direct to the Airshow Grounds... will be knackered on day 1 but you do what you gotta do!! Also staying in Camp Scholler, managed to muscle into a caravan with a couple of American guys that have been going for years... yet to meet them... hope they're not axe murderers!! Really looking forward to it and getting pretty excited... First time to the states and Oshkosh of course... a real bucket list item... wife says "make the most of it cost it aint going to be a regular event!" Hope to meet Bruce over there... funny if we meet for the first time in Wisconsin USA rather than Hamilton NZ!!

Keep a look out for Draken and a couple of our old Skyhawks and Macchis. They will be on static display.

I'll be there on Wednesday 31st. I didn't know Draken would be there, so there's an added bonus!

Unfortunately it appears that the A4s and Macchis haven't made it. 4 L-39s from the Black Diamonds are here instead.

Just back in last night - great - as always. Such a range and volume of neat aircraft to see, people to meet etc For me the highlights were the Harvard ( North American Trainer Assoc - NATA ) flyin / formation clinic at Dubuque, IA the weekend before. We did the clinic then flew in to Oshkosh with Qty 38 aircraft. Also good were the were six P-40s at the show, and lots of Kiwis to share a cold beer with. Great week - some photos below Rgds Hvd1041 Flying Finger Four Right out of Waukesha Formation Flight in to Oshkosh One of Ron Fagen's P-40s Print of the Mosquito - couldn't get the girls to move aside for the photo however Couple of well known Kiwi Mosquito people contemplating their next Project Vans Tent Skyraider Great Harvard paint scheme
