Wow slow flight Norfolk to Keri Keri, 4.59 hours, strong winds perhaps? Arrived Keri Keri lunch time yesterday and on to Motueka, then a local Mot flight, guess this maybe her new home?

Work got in the way of my plane spotting obsession with this one, ZK-ZAG came in from Norfolk Island this morning, while I didn't see her take off did see her climb out, currently in the air heading to the Gold Coast. Anyone got some history on her pretty sure I saw Golden Bay on the fuselage, so perhaps from the top of the South Island?
Also just heard and saw a Herc up high, they are never on flight aware.

You are correct, Golden Bay Air are based out of Takaka, formerly operated as Capital Air, and fly to Wellington and other local destinations. At one point they had ZIG, ZAG and ZOG in their fleet but I'm not sure what they have now besides ZOG (a PA-28), ZAG (which has maybe been sold offshore if it was passing through Norfolk?) and the Islander EVO. I think they might have an Airvan as well. ZIG is a Saratoga which is still on the register but now with Avtek in Timaru.

Saw that an American registered Sirius was due so popped down to the airport and got surprised by a Royal Flying Doctors King Air, always a concern when they show up because it means someone isn’t well? Not much urgency regarding the turn around so can’t have been too serious. We are lucky aa a remote community that these folks come to our aid at the drop of a hat! Sirius (Cirrus) is around an hour off landing on Norfolk Island as I type this, don’t know if she will go north to the USA or south to NZ, will find out tomorrow I guess?

There's a new Cirrus due in NZ this weekend for a demonstration tour, so I would assume it is that one. It's going to be visiting Auckland Aero Club at some point, hopefully it fares better than the last one I saw there on demo which ended up coming down in someone's backyard in Australia (under parachute thankfully) when it crossed back over the Tasman...

At the risk of sounding Serious, is this supposed to be Sirius or Cirrus as in cloud?

I saw it parked up at Ardmore earlier today, not really my cup of tea but a nice looking machine nonetheless.

#$%&*! missed another one due to my work getting in the way of my fun! www.flightaware.com/live/flight/VHCOWVH-COW currently in the air on her way to Norfolk Island and on to NZ, would have been good to see her land, stiff cross wind today. Another tail dragging Cessna on her way to New Zealand have been quite a few imported 180 and 185s head east in recent years!

The new owner of JFC used to be one of the owners of the Thunder Mustang that lived at Ardmore, he's a good guy, now based in Aus hence this aircraft heading across the ditch.

I used work with Robert, we learnt to fly together aswell. He at Auckland Aero club and I at NE. He has always had a very fond liking to JFC once he got his PPL. So it seems right that he now owns it. Follow your dreams... Robert has arrived safely at Perth. Thank you for the photos at Lord Howe Island he has now seen them and is very appreciative of them.
