Thanks for the photos Dave - nice clean shots - no crowds when you get there a day or two early!! Plus the personal ones of the pilots - great!

Re the different uniforms and helmets....I stand to be corrected but the UK style desert cam dressed people are RNZAF, likely from the Air Security trade or whatever they are called this week. The guys in the helmets and the newer cam style are Army, and the helmets would be required as they abseiled out, not landed on the ground and ran out of the helo.

I'm still not done uploading my pics - Photobucket wasn't cooperating so I decided to give Flickr a go. And not having any luck sharing from there. Baz showed my how to attach the pic at the Forum end but Flickr is a mystery as to which code is for sharing to a site like this. Now if I wanted to put them on Facebook it looks pretty easy. But then I'd just upload them directly to FB if that was all I wanted to do. Hmmm - come back Photobucket all is forgiven... www.flickr.com/photos/132410414@N06/sets/72157651764781566/with/16876559038/

Baz showed my how to attach the pic at the Forum end but Flickr is a mystery as to which code is for sharing to a site like this. On the Flickr page for the photo, click the arrow icon to the bottom right of the photo itself (just left of the downward arrow) - if you hover over it , it is labelled 'Share this photo'. The line below 'Code' gives you a choice between 'HTML', 'Link', 'BBCode'. Click 'BBCode' The box below that lets you choose the size of photo that you want to appear on the forum (probably one of the Mediums, or Large) The box below that should now have a bunch of code in it (starting with '[url=...), and have the code highlighted (so probably in blue). Copy the code (Ctrl-C, or right-click and choose copy). Paste the code into a Forum post. You can also share straight to FB, Twitter etc it you have told Flickr your details (using the pretty icons at the top of the 'Share this photo' dialog.
