So the photos on Flickr and photobucket are blocked, but not those on Dave's host. Bugger.

My "host" is Facebook. I uploaded all my photos there (way more than on here) and then copied the url's to the forum, to save me time.
Your computers hate you Pete!!

I finally worked my way through my photos - a miniature dust storm that seemed to be localised to inside my camera (on top of the sensor to be precise) and subsequent spot removal slowing things down considerably. The full album is here - www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.10152141845612584.1073741852.756702583&type=1Here are a few samples...... Well at least I've still got one retina left... Cheers, Stu.

Obviously not a fan of the British habit of taking a ladder along to airshows....

Great photos guys, shame I was laid up after an minor op and couldn't get there. Those photos do show what a great day I missed. First thing I spotted was the L plate, do like a sense of humour

Thanks Gavin, spectacular air-to-air shots as usual! It became a difficult afternoon for photography, so nice to see you achieved some great shots then!

Thanks for the excellent coverage of the event. As I was in Wellngton over that weekend, I was unfortunatly unable to attend. However . . . I was able to catch up with an Otter on the same day. Nothing to do with de Havilland however, this one resides happily in the Wellington zoo!

Wasn't that Otter, the 'one that got away' and went 'visiting'a few years ago?
Still Otterly interesting, of course...

Superb photos Gavin. I love that one of Frank and Liz side by side in their Harvards.
The escapee otter was from Auckland Zoo.

Re: 'What's with the shark mouth on the P-40?'
It appears that in this 21st-Century world, a P-40 (irrespective of its actual provenance and usage) is perceived as not being a 'true and genuine' P-40 UNLESS it is adorned with such a design. The aircraft's actual service history is irrelevant, it's apparently what the viewing public has been conditioned to expect.
The AVG and certain movies have a lot to answer for in that respect...
I hope that this helps.
