I did a long ferry flight up in the Pacific. The food is important, we took off out of Canton Island after a night feasting on local delicacies.....Now whether it was the fish or the breadfruit I don't know but I do know it was all very keen to get out, - midway through the next 7 hour leg. I think the sandwiches and banana sound like a safe choice. They may just have to watch out what the guys on Norfolk try and feed them.

They're sharp-looking beasties, and to me they look really good with the tanks underneath.
For neophytes like me who haven't followed the project, what makes a (our) T-6 different to the RAAF PC-9?

There is some information here, www.beechcraft.com/defense/t-6c/ check out "specifications", and "cockpit" etc. There is a Downlaod executive summary glossy as well. But there was a whole study on the upgrades that got it to this point somewhere.

I thought handover would be when the next three get here? But these two are here to be flown, the other two for now are for maintenance training purposes. @zacyates, I thought there was something about them earlier on in this thread too.
