Hi Errol,
I'm not sure what you meant by 'first public flight' for Jess. Are you talking about the 2015-2016 season? Her public flying debut was the Remembrance Day show in 2012.

Superb photos of Jess there Errol. She has quite a bomb load, possibly as much as some of the early WWII bombers carried. I love the shot with Betty escorting Jess.

Those two are both original aircraft, right?

Those two are both original aircraft, right? The 504 is a rebuild. The BE2 is a new reproduction.

The only airworthy original BE2 is ZK-BFR, the PC10-painted machine which debuted at Omaka in 2009

Thanks, there's so many now get confused which is which. There now is a list on The Vintage Aviator Ltd website. The plan is to update the listings in July.

It's good that they have been putting a short history of the aircraft (original or as represented) that aren't in 'Wings of history' on Facebook. They have done the Hanriot, this B.E.2c, and another one I can't remember in the last few weeks.
Something brought up on other forums: "St. Catherines, Ontario" is actually spelled St. Catharines. As I assume that TVAL had a photo or two to work from, was the error on the original aircraft?

If anyone else has trouble finding The List, it's here: thevintageaviator.co.nz/node/466"A Database has been created of all of our aircrafts for reference." A BIG bravo to Ray Deerness for his work collating this information, what an achievement!
