I had heard a rumour somewhere that the Hurricane would debut at Illawarra, I'm guessing that's not true?

Yes, the FW-190 should be a highlight! I also haven't seen the Yak-3U or one of the Mustangs either.

I've even got a new camera (D7200, so D7000 can replace old D80), and a new lens (80-400mm to replace my prior version of the same).
I've been down at Ardmore getting used to them.

If the Hurricane shows up, it will be a surprise.

Who or what are the "Australian Army Red Berets"? Are they an Aussie version of the British Parachute Regiment?

Parachute Display team, I think.

Red Berets are the Army's parachute display team made up of instructors from the school at HMAS Albatross. Hurricane should fly before the end of this month if my mail is correct. FW.190 will be great to see. Trappo's Sabre shall be a highlight as well. Errol, the Yak.9U is a BEAST ! You'll love it. May be three Mustangs there but at least two.

I used the D7100 for a while, so I'll be interested to hear how you find the D7200 with the 80-400 VR2 Errol - I know I'll be jealous of that combo by the end of the weekend.

Fingers crossed for the weather this weekend (at least it's not flooded as it was last April) - Saturday is looking like a morning rain but the winds will be light, Sunday the wind is looking to pick up in the afternoon but as long as it sticks to it's predicted direction things should be good to go.

It was great to see the Connie start up at dusk - flames then smoke!

The UAV camera crew have the ok to operate while aircraft are taxi-ing, so they should get some good stuff.
