Wow this is seriously good. As an engineer I would be loving holding those parts and admiring the hell out of them!

Only flying she is likely to do is in a wooden crate across the ditch.

Cowl flap support assembly all joined up. Just need to make the forward brackets that come out from the engine mounts and the linkages that connect the inboard and outboard cowl flaps on each side. Head scratching at the moment as to how the support brackets for the cowl flap torque tube are mounted.

After some more searching and cross referencing of drawings, the mystery has been partially solved. Not sure what the bracket on the right mounts to yet. One drawing is still not showing up in the index or rolls of microfilm. Cowl flap torque tube assembly.

The concave flare at the rear of the exhaust opening won't be there and the frame for the filter covers will be. Using the best drawing available.

Port side exhaust cowl. Still need to make the top and bottom sections that rivet onto this piece.

Wonderful progress, that replica Alison looks so good, this thing will be/is a master piece, can I ask what are the vent holes in the exhaust cowl image.

Wonderful progress, that replica Alison looks so good, this thing will be/is a master piece, can I ask what are the vent holes in the exhaust cowl image. The vent holes are part of the cover for the carbureter air filter intake. The brass structure houses an air filter on each side which connects into the forward section of the top air scoop. Started to appear on some of the M variants onwards.
