Oh right, thanks. This is not good. The messaging from the D-G and PM this morning is that they trust the Track and Trace. Closer to NSW approach than VIC's. |

RNZAF's Facebook post says the 757, P-3K2, and C-130H will all make an appearance with Kiwi Thunder display, and an RAAF C-130J will also be making a display! Also the current flying program is at the bottom of the home page www.wings.org.nz/ |

I'm excited that both Wacos are expected per the programme, I've not seen either fly and haven't seen Keith Skilling's example in person. RNZAF's Facebook post says the 757, P-3K2, and C-130H will all make an appearance with Kiwi Thunder display, and an RAAF C-130J will also be making a display! I somehow missed that post, thank you! I always enjoy seeing the P-3 and 757 display, and seeing a J Herc display would be great! So, it appears no Mustangs this year... I saw a photo last week of TAF missing some parts and I have to admit I was a little worried she'd not be there. I don't believe Dove of Peace has ever attended a Wings Over Wairarapa, or indeed any non-Wanaka event except for Classic Fighters 2007 and 09. Two Yaks and two Spits is good though! And now more big news: I've never seen the Cropmaster before, this is AWESOME!!! |

Back in the day, probably late sixties, Air Services leased a Cropmaster for a while.

The P3, 757 and C 130 were polishing up their act over Whenuapai yesterday starting with a combined low level fly over , centred on the 757. The prop people climbed away left and right ( or port and starboard if you wish ) and each aircraft returned to do low and fast , then low and slow passes. All very tidy and much appreciated as I wont be at Masterton this year.

@usembassynz: Do you know what the best thing is about airshows? Well, it's plane to see. In this case a @usairforce B-52 will fly over #Wellington to #WingsoverWairarapa this Sat! A good place to view - top of Mt Vic ~12:45pm! A better spot to view, at the show 1pm
