Wellington airport conducting normal operations, B-757 here also Yep, just landed. Late due to paperwork issues when they added extra fuel to allow for holding. People on board from the 0630 flight that tried twice than went back to AKL.

I'm glad you made it Errol, no doubt we'll find each other as always!
I saw photos and video from the Fighter Flights team of the Anson and Yaks arriving. Great stuff!

Enjoy the airshow guys and gals. Hope those long grey clouds stay away. Deeply envious.

I'm off to bed for my early start, camera and phone both charging. I may even take the little camera too! I can't wait! I'll be in a grey WONZ shirt, jeans (may regret that), and a black Aerowork cap with a Cresco on it and dragging/being dragged by my 12yo nephew - please feel free to say hi! Hopefully will see some of you around! And remember: trust in the weather and pray for the B-52

Nice to see a picture of Harvard 66 at Masterton. It belongs to Andrew Gormlie CEO of Classic Flyers. Can't be 100% certain with his back to the camera but I think that is him standing, with arms folded, behind the port wing. I gather it had been at Napier last weekend.

Great to see the B-52 made it to the show. I was watching for it in Wellington, a bit of variation from the flight plan it didn't show overhead, instead flying up the Wairarapa side of the Rimutaka Ranges. Managed only to get a very far off pic of it over the ranges at altitude.

I didn't attend today. I spent today with family, revisiting and tidying my father's grave at Clareville. It was a nice gesture for the C130-H to dip its wing in a low-level salute as it passed overhead. At least that's how I chose to interpret it...
We all went to the Gladstone pub for lunch and were treated to a lowish high-speed flyover by the B-52. Nice gesture too. Thanks guys, impressive!
Tomorrow I'll be on the field
