It appears ZK-JGB will move to Napier permanently and operate scenic flights, due to arrive Wednesday afternoon!

Wow, they only just had publicity released a couple of days ago about it starting the tourist flights out of Te Anau, finally. Where did you hear it is moving?

Wow. Not what I expected considering the aforementioned publicity! Good news for Napier!

I'm confused. Why the sudden change? Is it going to head to Te Anau at some point or has that plan changed completely? Anyway good to see it back in the air regardless.

The Te Anau operation looked to be for high-end clientele, flights out of Napier look to be based on the tourism reality for at least the next couple of seasons. Hope they do well during Art Deco!

Can someone please provide fuller details on the transfer of ZK-JGB to Napier? Is this a permanent or a seasonal move? Why was Napier chosen? Is it owned there now? The ownership is still recorded on the CAA website as Airscapade Affairs Limited. If it has transferred there, can someone upload photos of it at Napier? Thanks.

This is a most confusing thread. One minute some one says ZK-JGB is in Napier. Nobody can verify it next thing the story gets taken down. This is Social Media at best with no verification behind the story.

This is Social Media at best with no verification behind the story. Unfortunately social media and forums are how I keep up with historic aviation goings-on. It took some hunting to find the post I originally linked to and now when I try to view that post I see this message: "This Content Isn't Available Right Now. When this happens, it's usually because the owner only shared it with a small group of people, changed who can see it or it's been deleted." Hopefully a Hawke's Bay member is able to provide an update when the time is right. Until then this is all that Social Media can produce for me, from a post about JGB’s arrival in the Facebook group “Old Napier”: Generated from my Apple iPhone using tools.sportscard.trade

Not due to covid. Due to they never had the money to purchase the aircraft to begin with. Perhaps it may happen, who knows

Any updates on the current location and status of ZK-JGB? The relevant Hawkes Bay Facebook page has not been updated since January.

Since my last posting, I've had an email saying it was tied down with engine covers at far eastern end of Wanaka last Friday.

Been here a bit longer that that, this photo was taken April 6 this year. I recall it arrived for the easter weekend, and hasn't moved since. This one a little later
It does have engine covers on it now, which have only appeared in the last few weeks.
