Around midday yesterday (Saturday) I stumbled across the long-awaited first Tecnam P2006T to arrive in NZ at the Ardmore Tecnam base. This is ZK-TZY/2 for Izard Pacific - their original ZK-TZY was the Vulcan Air P-68C that departed overseas in 2006. Judging by the interested crowd, this may have been the first flight of the P2006. Running up outside the hangar Taxiing out Lining up 03 and away

That is so cool. I really like them. The Partenavia is my favourite twin and you can see the shared design.

Mary Patterson, she's an instructor at Tecnam. Apparently the first flight of TZY was the previous day.
Next P2006 will be ZK-TTW

I feel cold just looking at those photos. Beautiful day though, so don't mind an early frost

That is a beautiful shot of the tower and the sunrise Colin. Well done.
I was walking home from my mate's place last night at 1am after watching the rugby at his, and we had a fairly solid frost on the ground and cars etc even then. The high level bridge across the Waikato River was damned slippery with ice on the footpath too.

Thanks Dave pity DAK is not there. I guess it is away on a maintenance break. Some from this afternoon. TMG speeding over head. Landing. Doug about to take off. That fella in the front looks familiar anyone know who it is? This fella was frightened by a helicopter and raced up the grass next to rwy 03. Stopped for a photo shoot. Then high tailed at a bluring pace down the runway edge almost becoming air borne. I didn't quite catch all the wheels on CKH Then she was over the fence for a landing on the grass. Lovely day after the frosty start. Cheers
