Nice photos Colin Did that 750 leave Ardmore today and fly back south? Because I saw either a P-750 or a Creso fly over at around 1:15 ish. I was 80% sure it was a 750 though. Always liked these planes, useful for sure, plus they're made in my home city

Always liked these planes, useful for sure, plus they're made in my home city Thanks Mr Orion. I left Ardmore around 12:30 and it was still on the ground. It could have been the one you saw returning to Hamilton? They sure are nice machines and his landing was real short when he arrived at AMZ. They were using 03 runway so I would not have heard his take off from home. When they use 21 I can hear and see them out my window while on my computer as they fly over Papakura. Cheers, Colin

It did quite a bit of flying today, I saw it coming in from the north at one point but it may have also vacated south for a while.

Very cool. Well done to those who have restored it. It's a nice looking aeroplane.

I remember a blue Stearman arrived at a Tokoroa Airshow around November 1983. Noticed then the handcrank and flywheel starting system

Good day for flying yesterday and there were a few out and about. I caught this beauty taxing out. A video to catch the sound. Still lots more to edit. Busy week end this with action on the water with Tall Ships festival and various firsts at AKL. DHL 757 has a sticker for Rugby World Cup 2015. China Southern replace A330 service with Boeing 787 on Monday. We have an 80th birthday to go to today so editing will be later in the week. Cheers, Colin

Yes nice shooting Errol, nice clean shots of the planes with a bit of prop blur showing... The secret's in the ones I've thrown out, especially as I was seeing how slow I could take the shutter.

I don't think you need to practice, Errol. I, on the other hand, with a lens that is now a week old...
