I have mentioned this on other threads, but I am a new cadet (7 weeks, 14 sessions, one camp) in Ghost Squadron.

Completely agree with you Dave, I am forced to listen to morning report on the way to school and my life is better for it.

Back after a very tiring weekend. Gliding was great, rather than having a towplane we were launched by slingshot at a great speed. I got to fly most of the time, although not landing!

We have been here since December 1915, and have advanced no further than an asthmatic ant with some heavy shopping.

I shall be there on Saturday and sunday, first as a RAF pilot/groundcrew with my local ATC squadron (no 23 'Ghost squadron') and on Sunday as a visitor.

I love the fact that we are little old NZ, too far away and too small to invade...

To be frank, in 6 years time when I'm in the airforce, I want to be IN the plane, flying it. I don't mind UAVs as long as there are also manned craft.

I'll post a pic of the Barons own Cross from the triplane...Baz I'm sure you saw it. Also the emblem thing on the Stuka is a dog of the same type that we have! I'm sure you have been inside one but there is a wonderful Freighter at Founders Park in Nelson, people are welcome to step inside for free.

There was a picture in the Nelson mail of a whole lot of debris and about 6 planes piled up together, truly shocking! If you think about all the earthquakes recently, the conspiracy theorists will be onto this one like flies to honey. And Anthony...for goodness sake NEVER come near Nelson...good to hear you're ok.

For those that don't know, the air force runs a magazine with news about what's happening each month. It is free of charge, and all you need to do is go to their website and subscribe to it.
