Nelsons no 23 ATC squadron are going on a gliding camp at the Golden Downs on the 19 and 20 March. I will tell you about it when I get back. Tips on flying a glider?

I am thrilled, do not doubt that, but I personally feel that the Mosquito will overshadow this, as it's my favourite plane. All the same...wow.

Just to update on the hopefully not too irrelevant topic of planes helping ChCh going through Nelson Yesterday, 1:50 or so, Herc took off from Nelson airport (a rare occurrence!) Yesterday, 7:05 approx, air ambulance took off. Will keep you updated.
