My Tauranga spy just sent a txt to me that there is a louder than usual jet in the air... we just might have a Hunter to look at

yes just heard it!...sounded a bit too loud for the A-37 and it certainly wasnt a Vampire or Strikemaster

Hunter currently making lots of nice noise over Tauranga skies. Strikemaster is still listed but no P51.

the jet noise woke me up from my combat nap (after a night shift)! From our place in Welcome Bay we had a great view of it stropping around. Cant wait for Sunday-its gonna be fabulous!! Weather's superb.

Yep just caught it heading at high speed for beat up of the airport....I overheard a couple of "old" ladies saying it must be an Orion ;D

twas wonderful to see and hear my favourite jet belting around the skies of my home city again. Roll on Saturday AND Sunday.

yes it was awesome to see and hear, i tried to photo, but the sky is so blue and glarry, was mean to see vapour off the wing tips,,,, mean
