I'm only aware of one Dave Simms in Marlborough and he was very deeply involved in the Marlborough Warbirds Association. What awfully sad news.

It is with the greatest of sadness to learn that Robyn Reid passed away this morning following her long, brave battle with cancer. She was one of the nicest ladies you'd ever meet, so much fun. The warbirds and aviation scene will really miss her very much. My sincere condolences to Bill, Toby, Amelia and all the Reid family.

Dave, That is extremely sad news. Like many I first met Robyn and Bill through their Anson rebuild. Speaking with them was like being with two long standing friends even though we had just met. She was always enthusiastic, generous and fun. My sincere condolences to all the Reid family and friends and there will be many.

I just received an email about this. Awful news I was not expecting. I only met her once: at the Awards Dinner at CF'15 she was handing out poppies that had been dropped from the Anson that afternoon, dressed in (I think) a WAAF uniform and wearing a big smile.
My best wishes to the Reids and the Omaka family.
