Dearly loved husband of Jocelyn for 63 years. Adored father and father-in-law of Julie and John, Rhonda and Des, Grant and Aulikka, Claire and Michael. Much treasured Poppa of Sarah, Justine, Daniel, Olivia, Mikael, Thomas, Jessica and James. Great- Poppa to Austin, Griffin, Rowan, Issey and Sophie. Sad to read of Geoff Highet's passing. Geoff was CO of 75 Sqn Tengah when I was there 1959-60, a well respected Boss of a tightly knit unit. I met up with Geoff a few years later when I joined Air NZ and flew with him on Electras and DC8's.
RIP Jetspeed.

It's amazing how often the newspaper death notices seem to get the service number wrong - I assume these are supplied to the newspaper by the local RSA, I wonder how often the headstones at RSA cemeteries also have the wrong service number?
