The boys on the Agricultural Aviation board missed that one,a Yeoman Cropmaster taking flight again is quite an event.

Dave Phillips forms up on a Cessna 206 at Warbirds Over Wanaka last Friday. Spectacular view and he was very close. The sound of thunder was amazing as he powered away from each pass.  |

A superb shot Gavin. I had the good fortune to spend a bit of time around the Hunter, and even managed to scrounge a 30 minute ride in a 20 Sqn T-bird over the South China sea from RAF Tengah in Singapore., so the displays in the the last two weekends have been a real nostalgia trip. Thank you!

Gavin, that is one of my most favourite shots so far. Really fantastic. Dave is such a great chap too. He is one of our great airshow performers and a thoroughly nice bloke.

Just beautiful shots Gavin, the Hunter up close takes your breath away ...
Dave's displays were the talk of the last two shows I've been to, from opposite ends of the performance spectrum, but equally spectacular.
Thanks again for all your efforts in keeping us forumites up with the very latest action and very best in photography.

Brill!! O for awesome everyone, thanks for the pics! That shot of Mr Philips in the Hunter...WOW, and the 'period head gear' made me smile. At the 2010 Wanaka show I first saw his Tiger display, and I gotta say, it took first place for me, simply breathtaking. Not sure that its the most dignified way to treat an old lady though...
