Zac, you weren't the only one who heard about that. Pretty sure it was mentioned in the 2002 WoW article in CW. I wonder what's taking it so long to get here? (;

There were apparently tentative plans to bring Liberty Belle across the Pacific on a tour to Australia and NZ, but since it was burned badly in a fire that won't be happening for some time sadly.

Badly burned? There is effectively nothing left of it except the wing and engines

Graeme flew in the finale on the Sunday, what a great achievement for him after all of the work that has gone into his lovely Yak 3. Boy was he smiling after that flight.

Is that last image like a quiz to try and find and guess what aircraft is you have taken a shot of. I pick it has just gone behind the hill.

This would be one of my top 5 photos from Wanaka, sure it is the Hunter but it was taken from a Cessna 206, which was not easy for Dave. It was great to see him slide on by a couple of times, then power off into the distance, my god the noise was unbelievable each time he did that!!!

This is a stunning shot Gavin. Even though its a still you get the feeling of motion as he rolls round.

Have just updated the website with a folder of photos from the flight with the Texan II and Harvard at Warbirds Over Wanaka 2012. Have put several other updates up as well in the past couple of weeks. Main update of photos taken from the ground is coming on Friday night if I get them all sorted in time!!!

Wow, wow, wow and wow again ... the head-on shot of ZK-TAF is my pick, out of a great bunch of shots.
Thanks Gavin, your generosity is matched only by your art!
