There is a group of us from Auckland Aero Club going down, couldn't organise to go as far as Wanaka this year, but Ohakea should be a great show nonetheless.

Driving down from Ak on Friday (leaving mid-morning to make it to the evening WONZ meeting) and back up on Sunday - will have a spare seat if anyone here is interested.

Has anyone heard anything about what visiting military aircraft will be in NZ and around Ohakea end of March?

Leo, will you guys be attending the forum meet? Honestly Dave, probably not, as far as I'm aware I'm the only one of the group going who is a member here. Will look out for you guys though.

Sam and I are planning on that, definitely. It'll be great to see Brendon and, hopefully, meet Plonky after many years.

I'd like to add a hearty congratulations to the RNZAF team organising the airshow for arranging this amazing coup. Having USAF Raptors here for the show is amazing, and it shows that things must have improved a lot with both the military and political ties between our two nations. (I'm assuming they are USAF?). This is shaping up to be the kiwi airshow of the millenium.
