I have just subscribed through iTunes and listened to the Wings of Wairarapa special. Top stuff. I also give it 6 out of 5 stars. In fact, I'm off to iTunes right now to see if I can get away with that.
ETA: Looks like I can't review it on iTunes. Oh well...

There is a link on the WONZ Show page on my site.
I had no idea it disappeard, why would that happen. I don't know enough about iTunes - I only use it to load my downloads and music from discs onto my iPod. I don't subscribe to anything as far as I know.

I used the "subscribe with iTunes" link on the show page to get it into my podcast feed. Which worked fine. I was thinking the podcast might be listed in the iTunes store so that I could give it a review, but it does not appear there. I reckon there might be some value in getting it listed in iTunes alongside the likes of Warbird Radio. At the risk of oversimplifying things, this sounds pretty straightforward (famous last words): support.apple.com/kb/ht1819 |

When the podcast was put on its current host, it was automatically set up on iTunes as well. I'm 99% sure that you could find it by searching on iTunes at that stage.
I discovered in October (and thought it had been discussed on the forum, but maybe it was Twitter and email?) that you could not find it by searching, although the subscription I had set up still worked. As we hadn't done anything specific to set up iTunes, there didn't seem to be anything we could adjust.
If I click on the subscribe button, it just takes me to the iTunes store front screen (so I assumed that you couldn't add new subscriptions to the Show). But maybe that bit always worked, and I was taken to the front screen because I was already subscribed.

This is the first I have heard of it not being searchable there any more.
It looks like I have to set up an iTunes account and set up the feed manually now. What a pain.

Also the iTunes thing has stopped automatically loading new shows onto my account from WONZ Show since October 2012 too. Has this happened to others??
The actual Podonatic account which was a paid up pro account has been telling me for a couple of months that I should upgrade to pro and I have noted I'm almost out of space, so I think maybe it has been downgraded without any notice by email or otherwise, and services have been lost. Bloody wierd.

I may have solved the issue, the link should not have had the # on the end I think, so have removed that and resubmitted. We'll see what happens next....
