Superb pics, absolutely superb. That would have to be the most single engined jet's together in NZ in a long time. Nice to see the A109 out and about too.

Man... Photobucket has gone weird... Do the images above work for you?
If you click one of the blank thumbnails above, and the image works, but for some reason it's saying 'Photo has been moved or deleted'...

No not working unless you click the image..yeah Photobucket is slow and pain really (any better substitutes out there?). Great pics BTW.
I saw the issues they were having trying to get into the Corsair (on Friday wasn't it?)

I use Picasa which is part of the Google empire... it's a good wee (free) photo organising package on the PC and also online storage with an easy interace between them... otherwise I use the dreaded Facebook as free (and apparently limitless although low res) storage.

I use Picasa too (which has since been integrated with the Google+ social network, as further leverage against Facebook). But for some reason thumbnails don't work on this board when you use the Picasa link. Possibly because the links are secure https: instead of http:, I'm not sure. So I still use photobucket for this board.

If you click one of the blank thumbnails above, and the image works, but for some reason it's saying 'Photo has been moved or deleted'... I don't see the photos from that posting either. However, if you right-click on one of the photobucket symbols and choose 'view image info' you will see that type of image is given as a gif. Do the same on any other photobucket-stored image that does work and the Type of Image comes up as a jpeg. Possibly something wrong with either your image format or in your uploading?

I use Flickr.com - very good, but (like Photobucket I suspect), they don't like users displaying the photos off-site - they want the traffic! Flickr recently changed their "Share" code so that you can only copy a full link to the appropriate Flickr page, and not the image URL by itself. Maybe Photobucket has done something similar? - nope, just had a look at the Photobucket "Share" codes and it does allow you to copy and embed the actual full-size JPEG image, using the "Links > IMG Code" option at right. Click that (automtically copies the code) and paste direct into your Message here. The Photobucket "image moved or deleted" thumbnails showing in your entry above suggest that you have used links to the Photobucket pages inside IMG tags? Should be either an image file URL inside an IMG tag , or a web page URL inside a Hyperlink tag .
Cheers, Chris

Legends at Tauranga. [/quote] Anyone know the names of these chaps? I know Bryan Cox is in the middle and Bernard Nelson is 5th from the left with the striped jersey(at the back).

Hi there, just signed up today after an aquaintance suggested the members of this site might like to see my "Classics of the Sky" air show photos , of which I have hundreds I'm a keen hobbyist photographer and although feathered birds are my usual subjects, I thoroughly enjoyed shooting planes, they are much easier to track! It was a fantastic show, Saturday was a stunner with that blue sky. Here's the link to my Air Show photo sets, keep checking back as I'm adding to the collection as I process my photos. www.flickr.com/photos/flyingkiwigirl/collections/72157629137846601/Thanks for looking, enjoy.

Where does the Hunter live now? Why was it out of service in the first place, did something break?

It is based at Tauranga. Dave decommissioned it because it was such a huge amount of hassle whenever he wanted to fly it. It was a day's preparation to get in an hour of flying. As he's an airline pilot and often away he found less and less time to fly it too. So it was mothballed. Nothing was broken.
