Not yet but don't think that a static Mosquito would create this much fuss ;D

I will be present - dates booked.
Have accommodation available - 2 single beds are here. Also transport on one/both days.
Be aware that I'm on the North Shore, handy for Don's but possibly not so handy for Ardmore (40 minutes on a good day).
Maybe we should give some thought to a Forum get together in Auckland on the Saturday evening?

Wal and the guys must be really on the "gravy stroke" now, to committ to a date that soon. Having seen that bare fuse just out of the jig at Glynns a few years ago, this is incredible. Truly one of the planets most astounding warbird efforts. We are blessed to have the opportunity to witness it. I wonder if we will see a DVD about the restoration, in similar vein to the excellent production re the Spitfire "Marion."? For any who haven't seen that DVD, get a copy. Its great. Very profesh and just what us warbird resto geeks love. BRING IT ON

Agreed, Pete! A DVD would be outstanding.
Flyernzl, any chance the beds are in the same room? If so, may I put down Sam and myself?
JDK, awesome news! It would be great to meet you, having read your posts on the Key forum and in print for many years.

Great. Two birds with one stone. Sounds like an extremely good weekend. Thanks Dave. I have spoken to my dear wife and said I would offer accommodation to a couple of people. It will be a basic Mattress on the floor in the rumpus. We are used to this as we have a couple of young adult kids who often have friends stay over so no problem. Transport in Auckland is again no problem as I will be at both events. I live in the North Shore. Depending on the start at Dons on the Saturday I could possibly squeeze in a quick trip to MoTaT. Just PM me and I shall get back to you with further info. Cheers Richard

Right, we're sorted, Sam and I and possibly grandson will definitely attend and bookings for Jetstar/Auckland Hotel/rental car will be made shortly.
We'd be a possible starter for a Saturday night!

You mean a bit of a shindig at a bar, Peter? Now would I suggest a thing like that, Dave? Well actually yes. There are a couple of decent places here on the North Shore, if that is where most people will be. Flyernzl, any chance the beds are in the same room? If so, may I put down Sam and myself? Yes they are Zac. You and partner would be welcome. Confirm with a PM please.
