I knew you knew that really Dave. ;D Oesau, those are some really nice pictures but those two Vampires with the wingtip contrails, like, WOW, what a shot in a million. That is just superb. Steve.

Great shots Ralph! I love the 'propellor action' with your camera settings, well done - especially the ones of the Mosquito taking off!

The Mosquito scheme is Dark green with over Medium Sea Grey, the Spitfire scheme is Dark Green, Ocean Grey over Medium Sea grey. The Mosquito scheme is what was used on night fighters later in the war, whereas the Spitfire scheme is the day fighter scheme. There is some confusion or maybe variation being a better word for 487 Mosquitos as the well known EG-T was photographed in what appears to be the day fighter scheme with a darker grey on the upper surfaces than the undersides. I'm not sure why most of the 487 & 464 Mosquito wore night fighter finish but it seems to have featured on many FB VIs. Steve. Thank you Steve.

Some great shots there guys, I can see I'm going to have to get more adventurous with low shutter speed pans to keep up! My favorite shot of the weekend. Cheers Darren Attachments:

Hey Daz, wondered if you would mind if I passed that photo of Stu Goldspink on to him. It is fantastic and I am sure he would love it.

Well, I'm sure if he had a spare seat in the P40 one day we could come to an arrangement! ;-)

It was a fabulous moody shot, the sky, the facial expression, the stance, the patience with the camera. I loved it too!
Well done Dazz - nice to meet you by the fence late Sunday afternoon!

Great set there from Ralph, your pics tell the story well. lots of info, with considered backgrounds. The B/w with the chap charging is totally believeable!. there has been pages of cool images from this show...in my home town.. (groan). thanks to everyone who has posted; made me long for home again. ditto on the pic for Stu Goldspink, I gave him one of mine and he signed another for me and said thanks..made my day.

An 8min video here of the P51 Mustang, F4U Corsair and P40 Kittyhawk - turn your speakers up!!! Enjoy!! Posted by ginrebel58 Oh and he has posted one of the WWII ensemble with KA114 leading too, and plenty of the two spitfires... Fantastic sights, beautiful sounds, great memories! And now HAFU with their version of the Mosquito and the WWII ensemble, the poor grunty Corsair looks a little out of place with it's profile and radial engine but hey! It was part of the RNZAF a little later... Sorry if this has been posted already... 7 x V12's and one radial... a good spread of types!
