Oh well, I guess you need to be Derek's friend. It was a clip showing the Griffon bursting into life today at Ardmore.

Actually, as I posted earlier today, I was up late last night and saw those photographs. After I made that post, I trawled through my computer's Temporary Internet Files folder and located them, and saved them to another folder. I then got distracted and have only just caught up with this thread again. Here is the post with the two missing images inserted.... Interesting things are afoot. This has come in from a southern correspondent... "There have been more than a few rumours of 'area 51' type happenings at Omaka airfield in recent days and weeks, mostly at dusk. Inquiries at the airfield and to the airshow organisers came back with the explanation that all people were seeing was this........ PHOTO REMOVED And sure enough we do see this guy floating around at dusk some evenings, but then someone who'd been particularly dedicated to watching the scene from a secret hiding place, also sent us this........" PHOTO REMOVED

The Fi-103 looks amazing. I wonder what the donk is? An actual pulsejet would be well beyond amazing into, into... Superlatives fail me...
(Assuming of course that the photo isn't just a cunning photoshop to entrap the gullible, like me...)

I spent four days at Omaka just now and the buildup to CF15 really is exciting to be a part of. The work that is going on behind the scenes is truly astounding and the results of what the team is up to will be thrilling for all who make it to the show.

Does the smoke mean Frank is going to put a kill marking on the FW190's rudder? He might not get the chance looking at the Yak 3 on his tail! That V1 looks great they really are a creative bunch up there, the excitement is building!!

Yes that V1 is an excellent looking mock up - they need to protect it and keep it for the museum rather than try and destroy it! But that is what it's there for - on show as a fine looking example of a great bit of technology from 70+ years ago. Keep the news coming. I wonder how the Bristol Hercules is coming along??
