I have been many times and it is nothing but superb.
It really does make NZ shows seem pretty small change in comparison.

Fantastic clip. Lots of familiar aircraft in that footage. We used to have some of the Duxford favourites feature at our airshows when I worked in Scotland.

Balbo 2011. this was a brilliant balbo at duxford 2011; ended up with the clash that saw a Skyraider bring down Mustang p-51 "big beautiful doll"

And it was an ex Oz machine........ very sad but also brilliant that the pilot was able to get out. That was a true miracle. Gert onto the CAA website to read the report

I was at that airshow and watched it happen, quite surreal and something I never hope to see again!
There is some great video of the mid-air on You Tube. The Spad is such a beast, you just know if you clip one (or one clips you) you will come off second best!

Just so SHINY! I hate to think how long it takes - I used to polish the spinners on a Wanganui-based King Air, and those alone took forever!
