Hi all, I'm after any photos or videos anyone might have of the RNZAF A109 display? Any help or a point in the right direction would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers for the welcome. Certainly was! Desperately trying to find some coverage for the unit. I should have some photographs of the A109 somewhere, although they will be well & truly buried on one of my memory cards. It was a bugger of an aircraft to photograph as the colour scheme is so dark and with the backlit background (looking into the sun) it was really hard to get the exposure right so I cannot say for sure until I locate the photographs in question whether or not they are any good. However, if I find any decent ones, I'll post them to this thread, and if you like what you see, you can contact me via the group's personal message system and I'll send you copies of the full-resolution originals.

Grant,
That shot of yours of the Avenger with partially folded or unfolded wings gives the impression of it about to take on the role of an ornithopter!

Welcome to the new recruits!
Troops, those are great pics! It's never easy photographing at Wanaka from the crowd side of the display line - well done!

What is this awesome looking aircraft type please? And is that Jurgis Kairys flying or is that Rob Fry's plane?

Who flew Mustang ZK-SAS 'Dove of Peace'?
Who flew Vampire ZK-VAM (with the backwards kiwi on the wing)?
Am I correct in thinking the Kittyhawks were displayed by Stu Goldspink (P-40E) and Liz Needham (P-40N)? Or did others also display these through the days?

Great display; thank the guys flying for us - great to see. Errol, the Avenger wing folding sequence is quite an interesting sight and it looks for a moment like the outer wing is about to fall off. Although not taken at the airshow, this clip shows the wing fold in action.

Dave, Frank Parker flew the P-40N on Sunday's live firing sortie, although Liz flew in the finale. Jurgis Kairys' aircraft is called the Juka (YU-ka) and was designed by him; he helped the Sukhoi design team on the Su-26 and other aerobatic types.

Thanks, I was thinking that was probably his Juka but was not certain. What was Rob Fry flying then?

Did the programme list pilot names for the more obscure aircraft that took part? Or for the Yak 52 team, etc?
Also, was Colin Henderson's Messerschitt Bf108 there, and did it fly with the Buchon?
