Science Museum? I thought PZ474 had spent most of its post-NZ days in South America and the rotting away at Chino?

Quite right Dave, I don't believe she ever went back to the UK. Wicked photos by the way - how good does that "long" scoop look? Wicked!

Nice photos Dave. Once the engines are on and the cowls start getting made progress seems to leap forward. They really are getting quicker with each aircraft. We'll be talking about paint schemes next! :-)

I visited Milson airport in the mid fifties and photographed two Mosquitoes. One was ZK-BCW the other unidentifiable. I still have the B&W negatives

Madmax, I would appreciate a look at your photos of the Mosquitoes at Milson. It was my father who broke the 3 up, with me assisting. Drove down from Auckland and back each weekend running on the petrol in the tanks. Maybe PM me.

Hi Rone, It will be sometime before I can get the images to you as they are presently 2.1/4in sq negatives and I'm unable to scan them myself and will need to have them professionally copied. I'm will be overseas next week and will have them scanned when I return

Stunning, if I had not have read the comments I would have assumed air to air shot, not taken from the ground as it was!
