Hi all, Gert's Bleriot and practice in Morris Tull's Pitts S1S for my solo, a bit of a reenactment of Pam Colling's 4min free style, in keeping with the theme of the show. Looking forward to your display Andy. I understand you weren't keen to fly Gert's Bleriot to Omaka? Something about the lack of inflight entertainment?

Hornets due at Ohakea for customs shortly apparently. Plonky and PV270 have arrived, Yak-3 and P-40 have practiced, ZK-XIV had a photo flight.

ZK-DAK rumbled overhead on finals to NZWU for fuel not long ago.
Isn't the Classic Wings Fairchild looking great? Much more advanced than I expected. And it's great to see both local 1:1 Nieuports in flying trim.

If that was DAK then I think AWP would be in the area too about the same time as I know it left Mangere after 9am and was calling into NZWU to refuel.

Yes, AWP landed shortly after DAK. PBY went to Woodbourne I think?

No, I was 10:45 or so, thanks for checking. I think I have better shots of Bill on my real camera, but this is off my phone We all had a moment earlier when the FW-190 was towed past with its cowls open. Fortunately Graham reassured us that some exhaust cracking had been spotted, and it was just on its way to JEM for a quick fix.

I was so relieved to see photos from Errol and others showing clear skies. I trust all are having fun? Did the Polikarpov make it?
And to be honest, I assumed it was DAK - not sure why, I plum forgot about AWP even though she's in and out of here often.

The Polikarpov flew for the first time yesterday I believe. So unlikely to display.
