Great! But I don't want to go into the "drawer"...
Favourite memory: has to be the 2013 Mosquito formation with the other top-shelf fighters!
Like to see this time: as above... Seriously, the TVAL collection!

Seeing in the drizzle the venom hitting the runway was memorable from a sad event and to have one of the wheels go rolling past in front of you, but thankfully no one was injured also the signing tent full of veterans including Geoff Fisken was a highlight
Love to see anything tval

Many years back, (can't remember which year), I had just arrived on the airfield, and was looking at something at ground level before the unmistakeable sound of the Corsair drew my attention skyward as Keith Skilling did his usual entrance from up on high. Had to readjust my view because he wasn't up high. I watched him make the first pass by sighting him through a vendors marquee.

I cannot give great past memories as I have not been able to make a show before but as an avid aviation enthusiast and with no overseas travel possible this year would love to see any of the fantastic replica WW1 aircraft.

Need a aviation fuel fix. Been a while since I have been a spectator at an air show.

Sadly there was no " Wings over Wairarapa " when I lived in Masterton many years ago ... would love to go to the show and revisit the Wairarapa again for a weekend

As mentioned in the original post, " In order to go into the draw, simply 'Like' this post", so click Like on the first post, and your name will go into the draw. I think folk are confused because right after those instructions are two further instructions, which I too interpreted as part of the competition entry conditions.

Hope my like is there !! Most favourite memory of Wings over Waiarapa was Dave Philips last pass fairly low down the main runway. I already had tears flowing down my cheeks and found myself saying :" C'mon Merv get him down to what you guys flew at" and right then Dave dropped the Mossie a few more metres as roared down at a good speed. The referral I was making was about Merv Darrall who was my fathers Pilot (Best man and my God Father) thoughout their stint in 487 Squadron. They spent many hours over France below tree top level and of course participants in the Amiens Raid. highlight from this show that also has topped all other shows is seeing the TVAL collection all up at once (or as many as they could get pilots for at least)

Haven’t managed to get to the show in past years but certainly keen on an airshow ‘fix’!

TVAL are my favorites to see (where else in the world can you see this!) - hope they feature a bit more in this years show!!
also hope the US ambassador manages to twist arms to get a B-52 or a B-1 !
