Which IMHO raises an interesting question: According to the NZ Customs site 'Parts of ships and aircraft' that are over 50 years old are 'Protected New Zealand objects' and as such cannot be exported(1), yet, as already noted above, this 'Over 50 year old ' aircraft, would seem to be destined to depart our shores. If that is in fact the case, then under what circumstances would this be allowed to occur?
