Awesome photos Errol! Could any of our P40 engineers tell me what the square and rectangular tubing is coming from the firewall and pointing towards the (missing) ducting from the oil and coolant coolers? Does it take warm air to the cockpit and/or guns?

This might be of interest - seen outside today. I noticed that! The Spitfire had a test flight apparently, but not during the couple of hours I was there :-( The Trojan did a bunch of touch and goes. |

Very nice, I've only seen it from a distance so far every time it's been flying. The Trojan certainly gets around the pattern quickly! Great to see plenty of warbirds action going on at Ardmore at the moment.

Great to see plenty of warbirds action going on at Ardmore at the moment. I think a couple of Cessna's have been surprised by the Trojan's speed on Finals, and caused go-arounds. |
