Finally got a pic of OKC in the new Air New Zealand livery seen here taking off on 05R as NZ175 to Perth. This is the first aircraft that flies international services to receive this colour scheme. Cheers, Colin

Hi all. I took some pictures at Auckland airport about a month ago, I thought I'd put them up here to bump this thread. Very nice photos's - thanks for sharing them with us.
BTW: The little tri-jet in image 5 (M-GMKM)carries a somewhat rare 'Country of Origin' marking: The Isle of Man (off the coast of England) . There can't be too many aircraft with such an international code in this part of the world...
Do we know anything about the aircraft's activities in New Zealand?

Komata, the "M" reg is actually very very popular in the biz jet world, it allows owners and operators a fair degree of autonomy in as much as they allow validations of pretty much any license to operate and maintain the aircraft.

Thanks for the info, the popularity within the biz-jet sector being no-doubt tied-in with the IOM's business-friendly (and very generous) taxation legislation...

I've just gotten into collecting 1/400 scale die cast metal airliners and that has lead me to a greater appreciation for these things.
The detail is astounding in these little models and then to see and photograph the real thing is awesome, the two hobbies go very well together.

Japan Prime Minister visited Auckland and Christchurch today. JF2 take off for CHC. JF1 take off for CHC later in the day and I assume the Prime Minister of Japan is on this one judging from the motorcade that went past my vantage point. Cheers

It looks so old fashioned, a 747 with a red stripe, really harks back to the 1970's for me. Cool!
