There was a delegation of Japanese high level businessmen visiting NZ at the moment - OJI (60%) and INCJ (40% - Innovation Network Corporation of Japan - Japan's Development and Research arm of their Govt) visiting our CHH Kinleith mill at the moment, awaiting the final sale proceedings to be approved by the Commerce Commission as they seek to purchase the Pulp & Paper NZ side of the Graeme Hart empire. They were likely passengers on a First Class flight from Japan very recently.

(Sorry guys, getting a bit off topic...) Don't really need the buttons everything is automated? When it rains the wipers work, when it gets dark the lights come on, when my mobile phone goes then I have to push a button to answer but I guess siri would do that if I let it? :-) Great to have a car again with cruise control(maybe the wife will use it and stop getting speeding tickets). Big difference at the petrol pump CRV $110 Rio $65 for a fill up and goes 100 km more. Only thing missing is perhaps it could pay the bill? ;-) Now back to Auckland Rarities! Cheers, Colin

Cheers, Colin Thanks for the extra pics Colin - She wouldn't have landed at Auckland this morning though, it looked bad enough from your photos anyway. Still, there is a fair amount of technology available if the plane has matching instrumentation and pilots are trained in its use.

Just two left and I believe one is already being decommissioned... once the 787 comes on line then I think it's the death nell for the old girls.

Thanks for that link Colin. Do all unusual flights, such as this and military flights fall under sky care? Quite a few do and sometimes if your lucky they come in while your there. Cheers

Awesome pics Colin. Do you have special access to the airport grounds or are all your spots open to the public? I always thought the closest we were allowed to get was the viewing platforms.
