And all that 'not due to enemy action' gets very close to 30% of the damage received by the aircraft in the survey.

I'll say it- you're off by a few thousand kilometers, this is a New Zealand based forum. Not to say someone won't have what you're after.
good luck

If they've got a sim for the P-8's (I think they have?) go with a 737 variant that's compatible.

Nothing in Gerard Morris's book.
1 picture of a helicopter bungee jump in WoW '94 (pg.24). The caption says Mark Frood jumped from the Helicopter Line Squirrel on Easter Sunday. Flown by Dennis Egerton. Photo credit is to Bryan Morgan.
Doesn't mention if it's a record of any type.

And for fun, think about the size of the thing- given those ladders being used for support (though admittedly there's no weight on the legs and the wheels aren't touching the ground)

Pity they didn't put a date on it in the little box for DATE. According to NZDF Serials NZ5331 was shipped from the US on 14 May 1944, assembled and BOC on Espiritu Santo 2 June 1944.
The placard has each corner cut at approximately 45 degrees, I'm assuming either removed from its mount with a chisel or tidied up after removal with a pair of tin snips.

An example for Curtiss - the placard shows F4U-1 (apparently NZ5331 according to a pencilled notation on the back).

A comment after the first article linked by ErrolC indicates it's an issue caused by a specific practice at a particular work facility, so it should only affect props that had passed through that facility. For it to affect RNZAF (or other nations) aircraft they'd have to use that facility in the States.

Interesting top photo, it looks like primary contact was the forearm and from that secondary was the bicep, given the wounds look equidistance from the elbow and the bicep is noticeably less. Did he fold his arm up after initial contact?

Though noting that letting the boy play with the earmuffs did result in their loss for several weeks, until I got a large pot out of the kitchen draw to cook something... we thought he'd put them in the rubbish, and we hadn't noticed.

At 10 my boy can still hear high frequencies that most adults can't- kids are more sensitive to higher frequencies and in some cases loud noises terrify them. At 4 he could tell me if a helicopter or aircraft was coming 10 seconds before I could.
