Hi Baz, Thanks for the good time, always interesting to talk plane stuff, ( woman don't understand do they), I wasn't too late for the tea departure time. My future father in laws??? house is pretty munted, it is coming down soon but all the joints in the jib have been ripped apart about 15 mm or so, blockwork fallen off etc. We got a good vibration while we were there. I see you had a 4.8er today, how did that go, as my daughter and mates are down in Twizel for new year, I hope they put the telly on the floor before they left. Next visit I will spend a bit more time and see the project. Now you have seen my photos I will have to show some progress in the next ones won't I. Good to see you got airborne in the 140, every landing is a good one as they don't bounce ah. Have a good new year Baz and bro, and we will see what 2012 brings.

We have a lot of skilled fellows on this site. A friend of my son who happens to be a TV installer got the V8 supercars live on channel seven from Aussie recently using a updated sky dish and a good freeview decoder. When you consider we pay $80 a month or $960 a year for stuff we don't watch, we can pay $ 400 for a freview' one off payment and with a bit of hashing we can hook into things we enjoy. Any suggestions, as long as my better half can watch coro my life is good !!!

CAA accident briefs this week. 16 Nov 2011 FU24 JQB Super Air Ltd East of Cambridge Aircraft was on feather and running while pilot was taking covers off fertilizer. Aircraft flicked out of feather and took off, going through a fence. There were no persons on board the aircraft at the time of the accident.
Would really make your day wouldn't it. Sympathy for the pilot concerned. Had a loader take off like that one morning on a strip with a slope, took 2 hours to get it out of a swamp.

Can anyone tell me why I cannot track any aircraft into Queenstown. I follow a jetstar down to Fairlie then it stopped.

Very sad indeed. Max has been a legend for over 30 years at Te Kowhai. RIP

Hey Baz good stuff, My daughter lives in Redwood, Farquhar st, will be up at christmas, be good to meet you, have a beer and a look at the old girl. Do the auster have "an" bolts or bsf like the tiger. Wood is easy to fix, just glue more on and trim the excess off.

Is it true the higher you go the narrower the seat gets? She would be good for bombing competitions, hovering over the spot.
