My ex worked with Ron Brizzell for about 12 years.Unfortunately he was a typical veteran who didn't talk much. However, I understand that he was a radio operator with 100 ECM Group flying Halifaxes. I think with 462 Squadron!

NZ Warbirds members, CAA, Air NZ crew, and other aviation related folks gathered today to support and celebrate with NZ Warbirds General Manager Peter Houghtons family....his Life as an Aviator, sailor, Husband, Dad and Grandad. A fabulous Funeral, A stunning 5- ship fly past of Harvards in trying, gusty conditions after he was carried from the chapel...and a great Wake - in the True Irish Spirit at NZ Warbird HQ. He was proud to be associated with the folks at Warbirds...and we feel the same about him.

Just picked up on this thread - yes shorty, I remember Johnny Miller. Also worked with both Les Grimes and George Sudlow, both Insty's of the highest order. Les went to the States when we bought the Orions and was highly regarded. He was the only guy who could do the 12 minute run test the morning after a heavy night, having a fag beforehand, running over 7 laps and finish with a fag.
