Sqn Ldr (Rtd) Kevin Jones C81537 LOG, following a bravely fought battle with cancer. Kevin died peacefully at North Shore hospice. Kevin will be remembered from his role as AK Base Adj, as well as numerous Supply Sqn positions over his 34 year RNZAF career. He was also a staunch supporter of RNZAF sailing and the yacht club at Hobsonville.
Funeral is at 1500 hours on Saturday 18 May to be held at Morrison's Funeral Home, Central Park Drive, Henderson, , followed by a few rums in his honour at the yacht club (for medicinal purposes only...)

I joined the RNZAF in 1989 with Kevin Jones' son Wayne, who was a good mate and still is. Wayne's brother Vaughn was also in the RNZAF.
