Of course, Owen Foster was in No. 487 (NZ) Squadron on Venturas and was a survivor of the disastrous raid where most of the squadron was shot down, and Len Trent was awarded the Victoria Cross.

Sincere thoughts are with his wife Carmen and children Lydia and Patrick. A celebration of his life will be held at 40 Sqn on Wednesday 23 April at 1300hrs.
