That's incredibly sad new news about Pete, a very talented man and a real character to boot. I first had dealings with him through a Trade Me auction, I think be purchased a Corgi 1/72 EE Lightning from me and we shared a few emails and pictures thereafter. I then met him at Ardmore at the Mossie airshow. A sad loss, his artwork for Fly Past and other such publications will be missed

Oh that's really sad news - I was in communication with Pete when he found out that he was sick; I only met him once but he seemed like a really nice guy. His artwork was immaculate, including his work on The Captain's Fancy at MoTaT, and will continue to bring pleasure to many for years to come. The unbelievable discovery of his depiction of my uncle's Lancaster, HK601, framed and hanging on the wall at my local 2nd hand bookshop, is something I'll never forget!! Rest well Pete.
