Just a few from me, so many great pics already, thanks! Plonky meets his fans Graham Bethell and Doug Brooker prepare for the day ... like a jar of jellybeans in the candy store ... just because I love Beavers ... Look left, look right, look left again .... 777 parking up Doug again - this was a very impressive display Cheers, Chris

keeps coming ...great shots!! BTW anyone video the 4 ship F18 take-off on the show day? One small grainy vid on utube shows might have done hold down then pitch up. No video but yes they did and it looked and sounded very impressive!

hmmm - Baz may have 'lens envy'... I have camera envy! And needed a towel over my laptop keyboard due to excess drooling over the amazing photos posted. Looking at all those action shots I was wondering if I really was at the same air show as I don't recall seeing half of it, curse my short sighted eyes & rubbish telephoto on a dinky little point & shoot camera! You haven't seen all the shots that don't get posted ;D I feel like I have kept about 1 in 10. I actually saw you guys late in the day on Saturday at the crowdline but didn't manage to catch your eye to say hello. You don't need to catch my eye just whisper "Auster parts" and I will appear quicker than a Hornet on afterburner!" Yes I thought I saw you too but got distracted by them flying machines!! Hey Jason love that shot of the Hornet making vapour!!

Fantastic photos! Love that 777 takeoff shot, Colin. And I also enjoyed your '15 photo Gavin. What was the story with the Hornet on jacks?

Notice the bomb hanging down at an angle - the same piece of sellotape was giving him problems when I passed by!!
Amazing model - beautiful work Alistair.

Great photos all, thanks for sharing. This forum is the place to be after any NZ airshow. Looking forward to the Wanaka pics too.
Dave, the sheet of paper on the board behind the Iroquois model said that it was constructed by squadron personnel while they were on deployment to Timor. I think the metal tube Iroquois with the rotating rotor had a similar story. Is it a tradition for each deployment maybe?
