Yes a great video there. It was interesting to watch the race with no commentary. I had thought the commentary heard on the live feed was also broadcast via tannoy to the crowd but the camera did not pick that up so maybe not?
They should hire this film maker for the live feed!

Great clip, the sound of those Mustangs is something else, also can't believe how casual Steve Hinton is at such low altitude, as Zac said he knows what he's doing!

In the pics of the Yak where you can see the bottom, it looks to me like the outboard end of the flap is down a little, sucking down under the air pressure at high speed?

I had thought the commentary heard on the live feed was also broadcast via tannoy to the crowd but the camera did not pick that up so maybe not? They do for sure - the commentary with Steve Stavrakakis ("RACENUMBER7STREEEEEEEGAAAAAAA") and the other dude is the proper show/PA commentary. I think Jason shot from close to the pits, which are away to the west of the stands. I think they may have stopped doing DVDs/Blu-rays of the races in favour of TV coverage on NBC, which airs (I think) about six months later. This is a good thing, though, as RARA uploads these shows to YouTube pretty quickly after they're aired. They're well worth watching and broadly equivalent to the TV coverage some other motorsports get - pilot profiles, interviews, racecourse graphics and leaderboards etc. 2015's show, the first, was one 45min broadcast whereas last year's was an excellent three episode mini-series which looked at every class. I'm watching the third ep tonight. I think this quality and concept bodes well for the 2017 coverage when it's released. Here are the links/embeds for those who want to kill some time and watch some decent sport: 2015: 2016:

Just bumping a thread that I really enjoyed when it was happening, found the below clip of Strega doing her qualifying runs, these things really are awesome, does anyone know how much water they carry seems to be a fair bit as it comes out in quite a stream.
Would love to see some more footage of the Yak and keen as for one of those Full Noise t/shirts if they appear?

I'm hoping Jason has some footage of Full Noise to post, seeing as how well-done his Voodoo and Strega vids are from this year. There were also cameras in Full Noise if I remember correctly...
I'm definitely keen for a shirt or two!

Found this old pic and while nothing to do with "Full Noise" an Aussie and Kiwi connection. This years unlimited gold winner "Strega" in an ex RAAF mustang A68-679, the below pic taken in 1968 when she was part of an aviation museum collection in Mildura, Australia. The owner of this collection Kiwi Pearce Dunn.

Full Noise must be home by now, I’ve been away so haven’t paid my usual weekly visit to Omaka. Was at Port Nelson a week or so ago!

Darkie Dunn did so much for saving these old aeroplanes. It's great to see so many of them are in museums and some are flying these days.
