Just having a few issues with the prop governor. Great way to spend my lunch break! Lunch break? What madness is this?

The joys of a sales rep, lunch in fantastic spots like Omaka! Good coffee at the cafe too!

More good news from Omaka, the Spitfire Mk. XIVe has had its engine run following its annual servicing, all ready for Classic Fighters 2019. Photos from Dave McDonald.

Wonder if the planned twice a day displays indicates a 4 ship formation display and single ship solo later? Likely would be the 2OCU Avalon display heading over. Cheers

Can't see them bringing 4 jets. I expect they'll bring 2 like they do for Temora etc

I was thinking maybe a display and a tactical demo? Agree that a 4-ship would be a real stretch, unless they are doing a training deployment as well like the RNZAF Show.

At Temora and WOI the single ship demo goes up once (two jets in place with one backup) that's why Im curious about 2 displays each day? My bet is is 2OCU is going out with a bang and bringing the 4 ship.

FW190 has sorted the prop governor issue and now testing brakes, all thats left is to put the cowls on and find a daring pilot!

Hope you're right about the 4 ship, that would be good.

It would be interesting to learn of the difference in performance handling between with and without the rockets installed. Errol

As Ryan Southam is the test pilot he may be able to answer that question for us Errol.
